The HALO IoT Smart Sensor is a multi-sensor capable of detecting poor air quality as well as vape, smoke, THC and sound abnormalities like shouting in areas a camera cannot be placed. Additional sensors give HALO the ability to monitor air quality for temperature, humidity, hazardous chemicals, and more.
HALO detects environmental changes that occur in any room including privacy concern areas and alerts administrative or security personnel using email and text. HALO can integrate into a building management system and alert for poor air quality or track when cleaning has occured.
Halo Air Quality Monitor
The HALO provides Air Quality Monitoring
o Detection of Vaping and Smoking
o Detection of dangerous chemicals
o Temperature and Humidity
HALO can detect the following gasses with its multi-sensor array:
o Ethanol, Propanol, and Hydrogen levels
o Ammonia (nitrous oxide)
o Volatile organic compounds (glue solvents)
HALO has aggression detection and shot detection systems utilizing MEMS microphones.
o Gunshot detection
o Code-word security alerting for bullying, assault, etc.
HALO provides any VMS a MJPEG stream which shows the current status/readings of its sensors. The stream is provided via a standard RTSP request. Each sensor in the system has the ability to set its alarm notification points.
Alarm notifications are provided in several different ways:
o VMS Event Integration
o EMAIL/TEXT Notification
o IO Trigger
HALO is recessing ceiling mounted and requires a 120mm hole in a ceiling panel or sheet rock. The coverage area is different for each sensor. The Vape Detector and Chemical Sensors are specified for a 12x12 room. Larger rooms/areas will require multiple HALO devices.
